All it takes is faith and trust, and something I forgot, dust!

Ok, so potty training has no magic pixie dust, but that would be awesome. Maybe someday.
Until then, I guess we'll have to make do with faith and trust, and an understanding of the process.
We have to see the big picture of what potty training is really doing and if our methods help the child's development or hinder it. I'll be honest, a lot of what our culture teaches us about potty training does more harm than good. It is often more about adult's convenience rather than about what the child actually needs. We have all these fancy gadgets, and fancy ideals to go with them, but we really don't stop to ask what is developmentally appropriate.
My way of potty training does not include a guarantee of instant success. It does not use gimmicks or gadgets or anything fancy. It does not provide a fool-proof step by step guide for how to potty train any child in 3 days. No magic pixie dust here.
I do however guarantee that children will learn at their own speed. I promote natural training that is unique to each child and is geared towards how he or she is developing now and in the future.
Allowing potty training to be a unique process ends up allowing each child to eventually soar. No pixie dust required.
